Each Deck comes with 3 locations that should work well with the deck and give you an advantage. But don’t that stop you from mixing and matching to find what works best for you.
The Hospital lets you take advantage of all the cards you will discard. The Cloning Tank dubbles any number on abilities, even, as long as you attach them to a card in the cloning tank. Soul Investments allows you to move unpredictably while discarding the exact card you want to set up the next hit.
There are two common ways to play Earth Tau. A Skirmish Deck is made of 20 Order cards (no more than 3 of any kind) and is used in a game with 1 location.
Use Archfiends Leader ability to line up the perfect sucker punch and end the fight quickly and on your terms.
When you’re ready to step it up, it’s time for a War. War decks are a total of 40 Order cards and will be fought over 3 total locations. A game of Earth Tau War is multifaceted and will require an ever-evolving strategy to win.
Now is the time for the long con. Archfiend’s ability feeds into itself and provides you lots of amo. Use little quick abilities to keep your opponent off balance while you line up the killing blow. Make sure to watch how many cards you have in your deck because once you run out Archfiend has no more souls to sell and can no longer use his ability.
